The tenth anniversary edition of the Indigo festival – Indigo Dark Mode – was held from 8 to 10 October, 2025, in Ljubljana’s Cukrarna.
Under the theme of “Dark mode”, the festival brought together leading names in contemporary art, theory and music, including numerous artists, theorists and designers from the region and the world.
Through a three-day program of lectures, discussions, and musical performances, Indigo explored the challenges of contemporary society and different perspectives on today’s social, political, and cultural phenomena.
Among the participants of this year’s edition of the Indigo Festival were: Slavimir Stojanović, Richard Turley, Laurenz Brunner, Nour Abuzaid, Henrietta Moore, Renata Salecl, Aaron Schuster, Mladen Dolar, Boris Dežulović and numerous other authors who opened up the themes of identity, media, technology and social change.
The musical program was marked by performances by the following artists: Maja Osojnik, Félicia Atkinson, Colin Self, Dopplereffekt, Valentina Magaletti & Nídia, as well as the audiovisual project Friction. The festival was closed with a Babilonska DJ Set.
During all three days, visitors were also able to access the Shelter Press Pop-up with a selection of contemporary art and theoretical publications.
The tenth edition of the festival once again confirmed Indigo’s position as one of the most important regional festivals that connects contemporary art, critical thought and music, creating a space for dialogue and new creative experiences.
Marsh Creative Production is a co-organizer of the festival.
