Representatives of the “Tamara Grujić” Foundation attended this year’s St. Sava Ball in the magnificent Hofburg Imperial Palace in Vienna.
In the spirit of tradition, togetherness and humanity, that event was an opportunity to present the work of the Foundation, but also to highlight the needs of families who need help. The mission of the “Tamara Grujić” Foundation is to improve the living conditions of children and families, as well as support educational and health institutions, developing cooperation with organizations, businessmen and individuals in the country and abroad.
The goal of the Foundation is that every child and every family has the opportunity for a safer home and better conditions for life, education and treatment.
During their stay in Vienna, the representatives of the Foundation introduced the audience to the story of the Dimić family from Mogila, which needed support to rebuild their family home and create safer living conditions.
Thanks to the cooperation of the Serbian Center in Vienna and the “Tamara Grujić” Foundation, as well as the great solidarity and humanity of our people in the diaspora, the funds needed for the complete renovation of the house of the Dimić family were secured.
The Foundation points out that this kind of support is proof that togetherness and care for the most vulnerable go beyond geographical borders, and that the diaspora continues to play an important role in providing assistance to families throughout Serbia and in Kosovo and Metohija.
Marsh Creative Production provided creative support for this project.
